Well, it's been a very long while since I updated this thing, for a number of reasons. 1)...like Ashley said, my computer blew up. 2) After it was fixed, my parents like reposessed it. 3) ....Way too much hw. Right now, my dad is in Indiana and my mom is cooking, so I snuck onto my dad's comp and now I'm blogging. Everyone liked the Bonfire eh? haha, well here's is a poem OF that day, but it may be very confusing to many people.

Summer's Night Bonfire

I saunter through uneven sand that takes me to the shore,
lured lightly by the pastelled moonlight that tans the scenery grey.
A hand that seems to melt with mine trolls me past tower 4.
Fluorescent waves allure me into the frigid brine to taste
saline mist that widens my eyes. I see the stars that spread the night.
My mind now focused on her who charms me. She makes me feel so right.

I easily leave those shimmering starts to stare at that smile leading me through the dark.
We walk in step toward flickering fire. Familiar voices slowly crescendo.
From skin to bones, my body briskly thaws as we sit next to the glazy, blazing arch.
Reluctantly, I check the time. The night is near it's end. Though
minutes fall, one by one, still silent dreams to fulfill.
Heat pressing 'gainst my salt dried skin like a red-hot grill.

We follow the smoke, inch by inch, gazing again toward the vast, cloudless sky.
Constellations and galaxies: magical arraying of stars.
I glance down and spy the crescent moon of fairy tales, mirror in her eyes.
Wish upon a shooting star, or instead, the lustrous glow of mars.
I close my eyes and concentrate, making my with sincere.
I seal my lips, it may come true, if no one else does hear.

Awaken to a camera flash: Pose: my splintered hand above her waist.
"Count to three." The camera listens and counting does commence.
Nervous chills surge through my veins. "3!" and Flash!, my lips do taste
loves sweet tender gift, a kiss, an impression so immense.
Short and simple, so fulfilling. Oh yes! My mind and soul content.
Her smile grows wide and eyes crack open. So much THAT kiss had meant.

Time's fumes deplete, and now I'm alone, still drifting in the heavens.
May the memories of the evening be the first thing that I think of when
I wake up in the morning and open up my eyes, and then
I'll see her face to face, pause and take a breath,... "I love you."
