a gay poem about nature and life... i had to right it for english. What's with making us relate nature to emotions and feelings? Next I'm supposed to write a poem dealing with transcendentalism. ...awkward homework assignments...
Essence
Water is the essence of life
It soothes, it flows, it's gentle, or is it?
With time it shatters the toughest boulder.
It can wash away the deepest stains.
How can that which is gentle, be so strong?
I can't escape that which has no grasp.
Do I even want to?
Why would I leave that feeling- so addictive;
That simple nothing I've grown to deped on?
I pray this "nothing" leave a mark.
